Sweet Sweet Summer

This is what I imagine I would be wearing today if I still lived in Minneapolis. I mean, I am wearing it today and I'm not in Minneapolis, but.. you get what I mean. A part of me knows that I'm going to terribly miss those long 90 degree summer days spent sailing on Lake Calhoun and barbecuing on the porch, when you can't bear to wear anything besides a breezy maxi. I just keep reminding that part of me that "you will never again have to tromp (did I just make up a word?) through snow to get to work!." I'd say I'm out on top.
With that said, the colors of this outfit just make me want to take a bite out of a big juicy watermelon! Mmm. You can't see it because of the poor positioning with the sun, but I'm wearing this orange lipstick that reminds me of fruit and sun and everything that is summery and awesome.
Happy Memorial weekend! I'm spending mine showing my mommy around my new city. Doesn't get better than that!

    1. Thanks! I started it for my mom when I moved and it has evolved into kindof a diary of my personal style :) i'm learning as I go, if you have any tips for me, my ears are open! I'm really struggling with layout and templates right now.
